We are happy to announce that the RPCV mentoring program is now online and signing up is just a click away. The mentoring program was founded in 2007 with a fundamental goal: to connect recently returned Peace Corps volunteers with RPCV mentors.
For returning volunteers transitioning to life after the Peace Corps can be one of the hardest parts of their experience. Via phone, email and face-to-face meetings, mentors help ease the difficult transition, provide a connection to the RPCV community at large, and say some of the most comforting words in the English language, namely, "I know what you're going through. I've been there."
Interested participants can apply by creating an online mentoring profile, which allows individuals to highlight their particular needs and strengths. Participants will be matched up by NPCA staff based on geographic location and/or country of service, to assure that mentors and mentees will be able to connect over similar transitional experiences.
Sign up today and become an active member in strengthening the continually expanding Peace Corps community.
