Returned Volunteer Elected in Chicago

Former Chicago Area Peace Corps Association board member Scott Waguespack (Kenya 93-95) was just elected Alderman of Chicago's 32nd Ward (Lakeview/Bucktown/Wicker Park area). He ousted a Mayor Daley ally who was supported by a big political machine. Scott takes office on May 21. There are now two RPCVs on Chicago's City Council. Read more at www.scottforchicago.com.
